What is a Process Agent?
A process agent is a representative upon whom court papers may be served in any proceeding brought against a motor carrier, freight broker, freight forwarder or foreign corporation. Every motor carrier (of property or passenger) shall make a designation for each State in which it is authorized to operate and for each state traversed during such operations. Brokers are required to list process agents in eacn state in which they have an office and in which they write contracts.

agent for each state.

Registered Agent
We are pleased to provide you with information regarding the designation of registered agents. National Resident Agent Service, Inc. has a network of agents throughout the United States including the District of Columbia. We will supply a legal address and a registered agent in compliance with the Foreign Corporation regulations in any state.
The fee for this service is $100.00 per state per year. There are no additional charges from the individual agents. Any documents an agent receives on behalf of a corporation are forwarded to the corporation.
